Give Your Martial Arts Business Some Lovin’ with This Valentine’s Day Card Campaign

Looking for an easy, inexpensive way to spread the word about your school — and bring in new, excited white belts?

Say hello 🖐 to the Valentine’s Day Card Campaign.

Distributing Valentine’s Day cards that double as a voucher for a free month of martial arts lessons is an extremely effective way to make your students, parents of your students, and your business happy.

For one, your students will be excited to pass the cards out to their classmates and let their friends know they’re a martial artist. 

Parents of your students will love also you for it  … you’re saving them time by providing Valentine’s Day cards (one less thing for them to pick up at the store!) AND you’re saving parents $.

And, last, but not least, your business will love you for running this campaign as it’s PROVEN to generate interest and result in new student enrollments.

It’s a win-win-win!

Follow these steps to launch your own Valentine's Day Card Campaign

 

1. Determine the number of cards you want to print.

Since the average school class size is 25 students, we recommend getting 30 cards printed for each of your martial arts students. For example, if you have 50 martial arts students, you’d get 1,500 Valentine’s Day cards printed.

2. Download and customize your holiday card.

If you’re a Member Solutions client, head to the Marketing Materials library for an already-designed Valentine’s Day card. There, you’ll be able to download the 4 x 6, full-color Valentine’s Day card and customize it with your logo, QR code, and business information.

Not a Member Solutions client? With a bit more time and effort, you can use a simple design program like Canva to create your own Valentine’s Day card. Typical card size is either 3 x 4.5 inches or 4 x 6 inches.

3. Place your printing order with a print company, like Vistaprint, or your local print shop.

You’ll want to make sure you place your order as soon as possible as you’ll want the Valentine’s Day cards to be delivered to you no later than February 7; that way you can pass out the packs of cards to your students during classes throughout the week of February 7 and your students will have the cards ready to pass out to their classmates on Valentine’s Day, February 14.

4. Make your cards stand out. (Optional)

Since children will be getting TONS of Valentine’s Day cards on Valentine’s Day, consider attaching a low-cost candy, like a lollipop, to each card to make it stand out. Or, create bags of candy and place the card inside each bag.

5. Distribute the packs of Valentine’s Day cards to your students.

Once the cards arrive, place your packs of cards into gift bags for easy distribution. Dollar Tree sells small gift bags in packs of 3 for $1.25.

And that’s it!

With a little time and effort, and for less than $200, you’ve now made your way into the school system and made your students’ Valentine’s Day extra exciting and special.
